Admission Procedures

Referrals to Stewart Homes may be made by writing or telephoning either Pegi Handley or Audrey Higo. A preliminary decision with respect to space and suitability will be made within a day or two. If the decision is to proceed with the referral, written material and an opportunity to visit the child in his or her current placement will be requested. All decisions about placement details will be made in conjunction with the referring agency and the child's parents, if they are involved.
